1. The Loft Terrace
This loft conversion on Bennerley Road is simply awe-inspiring, creating a new room, an office space and a spacious roof terrace. This is a front and rear mansard loft conversion, which has utilised every inch of space created. The office area is situated in the terrace inset, at the top of the staircase, which has been made to seem more spacious by having a glass wall overlooking the terrace area. A terrace is a great way to use the space from a loft conversion, especially in a city like London where garden space is limited!
2. The Loft Dressing Room
For many homeowners, a loft conversion is a way to indulge in home features they have always wanted but never been able to have. A great example of this is a dressing room, which can fit perfectly into the layout of a loft conversion! In this loft conversion on Wyndcliffe Road, this dressing room fits perfectly into the L-section of the conversion, with a casement window bringing natural light into the dressing space.
3. Multiple Bedrooms
One of our favourite London loft conversion projects has been this stunning renovation on Otterburn Street. It created two new bedrooms, two bathrooms and a roof terrace, that flow seamlessly into each other, with one bedroom connecting directly to the terrace. The stairwell rises up in-between the new bedrooms, with the mirror hanging on the wall reflecting the light from the terrace. This has created a brightly lit staircase that serves as a hallway too.
4. Quirky Eaves
Our loft conversion on Burlington Lane is gorgeous, with quirky sloped eaves that make this into the perfect loft bedroom. Our team created a spacious room that utilises the lower headspace caused by the sloped eaves, placing the bed in the space of least headspace. A lovely ensuite showroom has been built on the L-section of this rear and l-shaped mansard, which creates the perfect guest bedroom.
5. The Open-Plan Office
For many of our clients, a loft conversion is a perfect opportunity to have a guest bedroom or office, and for some they choose to have both. This rear dormer enabled our clients to have an open-plan bedroom and office, which benefitted from a Juliet balcony and ensuite bathroom. This layout has created the perfect working space and bedroom area, without compromising on style.
