Looking for storage ideas for your new loft conversion? When converting your loft space it’s important to also think about maximising storage space and making the most of your new room. Here at Simply Loft we can cover all things from bespoke wardrobes built under the eaves, sliding doors for small spaces, right through to a special study or dressing area. Whatever you are looking for, Simply Loft will work with you as part of your loft conversion to ensure that your storage requirements are met most effectively.
Why not take a read of our hints and tips below for more storage ideas for your loft conversion:
1. Eaves Storage
The sloping ceilings and eaves in all loft conversions are ideal places to store various items. These drawers we installed for a client are perfect for organising or storing clothes in.
2. Built in wardrobes
In a loft conversion where space is tight its important to use as much floor to ceiling space as possible, so why not use one side of your wall to create some bespoke built in wardrobes? The Simply Loft team are able to work with you to create your ideal storage space as we did for a client in the following example:
3. Folding Doors
For smaller loft conversions why not try installing a folding door to your ensuite bathroom? This will allow more space between a bed and a bathroom door and leave your new loft conversion room feeling less cluttered.
4. Chimney Breast Fire Places
Empty fire places make a perfect storage space! In this example, our client used theirs to place a set of drawers in.
5. A dressing area or study
Corner spaces in loft conversions where head height is limited need not be wasted as they can be turned into a valuable space for a study or a dressing area:
6. Bespoke Furniture
Where space is limited Simply Loft can build bespoke furniture to fit under a sloping ceiling as in this example we completed for a client in Balham.
