Brief: A full loft conversion design and build project carried out to a semi-detached home on Knollys Road in West Norwood, London. A hip to gable loft combined with a rear dormer was added to this lovely home; creating an extra two bedrooms and bathroom.
Raheel first approached Simply Loft back in 2017 to get a quotation for his loft conversion to his home in South London. After a detailed survey was carried out and discussions had, it was felt that a hip to gable type of loft conversion combined with a rear dormer at the back of the property would really maximise the space on offer and utilise it to its best potential. We were delighted that Raheel decided to move ahead with us and a contract and fixed price was drawn up – then the project was handed over to our design team.
The design team worked with Raheel to come up with a plan to best suit his needs. A large bedroom with juliet balcony as well as a useful dressing room next door was added to the plans as well as a spacious bathroom next to the bedroom. Once all the necessary permissions were in place, then the plans were handed over to the Simply Loft construction team who set to work bringing them to life.
The end result achieved was exactly to plan with two spacious rooms and a fantastic bathroom finished off with beautiful tiles. To complete the look a stunning staircase was installed by the team but painted with black features to really create a focal point in their home. Raheel was pleased with the end result and is now enjoying the extra space the loft conversion has created for him and his partners home.
